Just got the result of my MCU test. It was a regular full hematology test with some cholesterol test. The result was quite surprising. I know that I am not the healthiest person you can find, however I didnot anticipate that the result could be that bad. While I have gone far too long into my sedentary lifestyle with exemplary bad diet, I would never think that I would reach this level of unhealthiness. If I could go back several years in the past ask myself how I would think about my present self, I would certainly be disgusted to the point of vomitting. No, I am not exaggerating.
The hematology shows a little bad news which require more test to confirm (or hopefully deny) my suspicion. While the overall blood cells is good, there's two things worth noting. Firstly, it's the percentage of what is called lymphocytes. My white blood cells got 44% of lymphocytes while the normal range is between 20%-40% according to the labs. Secondly, the neutrophils was only 46% in my blood cells. This amount is under the normal range of 50%-70%. I can rationalize the reason behind my increased level of lymphocytes is the use of corticosteroid for my asthma treatment. However I cannot find a way to rationalize the decreasing of my neutrophils. I might take some tests to further confirm (or hopefully deny) my suspicion in which I would not write here. I am just going to pray that it is not something serious.
The cholesterol tests result was more surprising for me. I know that lately my lifestyle is not the most healthy. I lead a very sedentary lifestyle, spending the majority of my waking time immobilized. Furthermore,I got more easily stressed. I did not, however, find it easy that my health is a lot worse than I thought. The triglycerides, LDL, and total cholesterol in my body is quite high.
